Calls for applications for participation in the academic mobility programmes are publicized by the International Relations Office on the university website tntu.edu.ua twice a year. Calls for applications contain information on minimum requirements for participants (study cycle, academic performance, required language competence, etc.), a list of possible subject areas for learning, the value of the mobility funding, deadlines of the selection process. Additional calls for applications can be announced, providing they are agreed on with the partner universities.
Choosing a foreign education institution for mobility, one should take into account the availability of study programme which is corresponded to the similar study programme at TNTU. To choose the possible study programme student should turn to the academic mobility coordinator in the faculty.
The call for applications for participation in the academic mobility programmes contains a registration form. A selection process participant should fill in the registration form and submit it to the International Relations Office. The registration form must be signed by an applicant and approved by the department head.
Procedure of selecting the academic mobility programme participants foresees several stages.
Stage 1 — a student must submit the following documents to the academic mobility coordinator in the department:

Positive decision of the faculty academic council is a reason for dean to introduce the proposed order on sending students to foreign country to participate in the academic mobility programme.

After the selection process all participations are informed about its results.
Selected students must fill in the Student Application Form and the Learning Agreement. To get the required forms they should turn to International Relations Office.
The academic mobility coordinator in the department must agree on the Learning Agreement with a partner institution before student departure.
After entering into the Learning Agreement, the dean should issue Transcripts of Records to the student.
The required documents (Student Application Form, Learning Agreement and Transcript of records) must be submitted by student to the International Relations Office no later than the date set in the call for applications. After receiving all required documents from student, the representatives of the TNTU International Relations Office should send them to the partner institution.
The representatives of the partner institution must agree on the nominated candidates within 2 or 3 weeks and inform the TNTU International Relations Office about their decision.
The documents required for student departure abroad are completed in conformity with TNTU rules with participation of the Training Department, the International Relations Office and the relevant faculty.
